About
Sean Paxton is a multi-instrumentalist, ASCAP award-winning composer, and alumnus of the University of Southern California School of Music. With an upbringing and education in jazz, his music reflects a wide variety of cultural influences in its harmonic and rhythmic nuance, and a sensitivity to the melodic character of the visual compositions and narratives that the music supports.
Making Music
As an LA- based composer and orchestrator Sean has written for feature films, shorts, television, trailers, plays, and musicals. As a pianist he has performed and recorded across the country. And as a musical director and conductor he has worked in dozens of theaters and music productions around the world.
Beyond Music
In addition to a passion for music, Sean balances his work with a dedication to literature, competitive and ocean swimming, and the ineffable beauty of the outdoors. The connections that follow from imagination to heartbeat, health to mind, and breath to Nature are vital to the pursuit of art and humanity.
